[...] And that of course is Sakura! Is a buffet type of restaurant where we can order whatever food we want! Haha! And it only cost S$30 for adults and S$20 for children. Is quite cheap! If you want to know more about this restaurant, you go to this website: http://www.buffetsingapore.com/sakura-buffet-singapor/ [...]

A very bad experience and unhappy dining @ Vienna. To jack up price without prealert the customers who have prebooked few weeks ago. No one from the company to inform us even we call back on the day to confirm the reservation.
Expected the customer to pay whatever price they dictated and poor customer service they provided to handle the situation. To let them know the power of consumer right, you will lost a pool of customers from our group from now on.

But am not sure if they are still giving Blackberry though...

[...] Sun’s Cafe is a no-frills restaurant – expect a non-carpeted marble floor, minimal wall decorations, and servers who are a few decades of age. Do not, however, be put off by its sparse appearance, for its bright, functional space is ideal for lively family gatherings or cozy dinners, its experienced servers are warm and sincere, and best of all, the Singaporean buffet is well worth the buck.
I had a very unpleasant experience there 2+ weeks ago. My mum decided to buy me a birthday lunch there, and I'm a cardholder of the Eat@Mandarin card (not to be confused with the Eat@Meritus card which is of a different color).

When it came to the bill, the restaurant insisted that I, as the cardholder, MUST PAY for the bill, and not my own mother. And they kept insisting that theirs equals the terms and conditions of the card.

The T&C of the E@M card states that "cardholder must be present when dining to claim the privileges of the discount". No where does it ever states that cardholder must be the one making payment.

Even after I pointed out that mine isn't the co-branded OCBC/Meritus card, their staff insisted that I pay. Which I had to in the end.
Follow-up email exchange with Eat@Mandarin and Marina Mandarin led to a very curt reply from the restaurant, where Aquamarine's manager, a certain Khoo Kim Hock, insisted that his staff offered to take my mother's credit card for payment. That is never the point. The point is that Aquamarine simply creates an unreal and unfair trading term for diners at the restaurant, and it particularly targets dining cardholders.

For the record, I never even received an apology call from this terrible restaurant. And I have been using Feed At Raffles, Ala Carte and Astor Card for the last 5 years. And never encountered such a ridiculous requirement imposed by a self-proclaimed 5-star restaurant.

Not worth going, not for the embarrassment, and certainly not for the questionable dining T&Cs.
