Buffet Review – Tiffany Cafe
Touted at one of the few hotels in Singapore which offers Halal international buffet, Tiffany Cafe & Restaurant at Furama Hotel is the ideal place to bring your Muslim friends out for a good meal. Suitably furnished to create a cosy atmosphere, the restaurant is a great place for conversations and chit-chats over some finger food and cocktail drinks.
At $36.80++ per person, the international buffet may come off as a little exorbitant considering its limited spread. However, the emphasis at Tiffany Cafe & Restaurant is quality over quantity. Despite its small scope of buffet items, its offerings are pitched at a high quality level to ensure overall satisfaction of their customers.
Sink your teeth into juicy satay freshly grilled at the satay corner. For an element of fun, create your own concoction of mee siam at the mee siam counter. Seafood lovers will absolutely adore the sambal crayfish and butter prawns, which are executed to perfection. Children will enjoy the chocolate fondue, where they will get to dip marshmallows and strawberries into a melting pot of hot chocolate.
Some other items in the buffet spread include the usual fare like Fried Japanese Udon, Cold Crab, Oysters. Prawns and Teriyaki Chicken to more exotic treats like Butterfish in Cream Sauce, Salmon in Cheese Cream Puff and Beef Goulash. Dessert lovers may be disappointed with the lack of range for the desserts, with only cake cubes, ice cream and puddings to speak of. Nonetheless, the butter pudding at Tiffany Cafe & Restaurant is still worth a try.
