Buffet Review – Hanabi Japanese Restaurant
Though its name means fireworks in Japanese, expect no frills and fairytale romance at Hanabi Japanese Restaurant. The eatery offers fuss free all-you-can-eat Japanese A La Carte Buffet at $32 for dinner and $27 for lunch at its 3 branches in Singapore.
For picky eaters, Hanabi Japanese Restaurant will definitely have something for you with over 110 items in its A La Carte Buffet menu for you to choose from. For others, you will be spoilt for choice! A praiseworthy dish offered in its menu is sashimi, or raw salmon. Thinly sliced and served cold, the restaurant offers some of the freshest sashimi you have ever eaten with a generous portion to boot.
If you are not a big fan of raw food, Hanabi Japanese Restaurant also has some delicious Japanese cooked food for you to savor. The Mixed Tempura will astound you with its light crispy exterior and hot juicy goodness when you sink your teeth into them. The Chawamushi, or steamed egg, has a silky texture and is served with a slice of fishcake and mushroom, a good alternative for those who intend to stay away from greasy food.
Do also give a go at the garlic fried rice, with its aromatic fragrance that will certainly entice you. On a side note, this carbohydrate laden dish will probably fill you up quickly and leave less room for you to stomach the numerous other dishes available.
Wash down your meal with a bottle of sake, kept chilled and refrigerated for a refreshing experience.
